Why Japanese Language Difficult for International Students
Buddhi Bahadur Karki

Hi everybody Iam Buddhi Bhahadr Karju
Today I am going to explain why Japanese language is difficult for international students.
I think Japanese language a polite and logical languages. All language have their own character.
Japanese language is the heart of the Japanese people. Now a day I am also use in the English language Japanese comes out.
Japanese language is more difficult. Reading is also difficult for international students. Japanese’s language has its own pronunciation of English words. Now day Japanese people also use English language but it is too much difficult for us to understand because of their pronunciation. For example Europa, computa, terebi ,miruku guguru rajio, indo, gasu isu sapoto etc.

Japanese’s language also has difficult logic. I have one example when I work at convenience store and when customer paid money I said him can I put in plastic he say yes.(いいよ) I think that mean ok but he is angry with me but that mean he want to say no. Next time in same case net customer also say (いいよ)that time he wants a plastic bag but I gave him without plastic gag he got also angry with me. Next example last year in winter season I went shopping some Japanese friends I say Japanese gays how is it one friend said いいとおもいますnext friend said いいですnext friend said 別にいいよbut their face want to say it is not good for you. Why they can’t say clearly it is not good. So international students ate often confused with Japanese language.

My friends in New York
Soma Tanaka

Today I will talk about my foreign friends.
It was when I was five that I met them. Their names are Gianvialli and Reyes and Ray Reyes. I often talked to them and played together.
When I was in kindergarten, the teacher often got angry at us.
We often played in the sand box and made a mess. When I was in elementary school, we played soccer. Sometimes we also fought. But there were very good friends.
Sometimes I went to a game center with them.
I was having fun at that time but suddenly they decided to go to America to study.
I’m happy that I found them on Facebook. Now I can talk to Gianvialli. He has forgotten Japanese a little.
Ray can speak English only. Talking to him is difficult.
I want to meet them. They live in New York. So I want to go to New York someday.

How Studying English Can Improve My Life
Noriyuki Endo

Today I will talk about how studying English can improve my life.
I have two purposes for wanting to use English in my life.
First, I would like to talk with people from various countries coming to Kuwana city. I would like to be a volunteer guide for them.
Next, this is the most important reason for studying English. Studying English is also good for my Japanese. By studying English grammar and composition, I have to think about how I do these things in Japanese. For example, before studying English in this university, it was hard for me to write a report even in Japanese. That is because I didn’t know how to make the structure of a piece of writing. But now, studying English has improved my writing ability.
In this way, learning another language is good for improving your own language.
These are the reasons why I think studying English can improve my life.
Thank you for listening.

JAPAN SURPRISED ME
Lama pradeep

I came to Japan in January 2013 almost 4 years ago. Before I came to Japan I wondered, what is japan? What kind of people leave in Japan? Is Japan a safe country for foreigners? Do most Japanese people speak English? Of these kinds of question were in my mind.

When I landed in Japan the first time I saw the airport which is made on the sea and I was totally surprised, at that time. I saw the streets and streets are clean, quite wide compared to my country Nepal. Other thing is I had never seen vending machines in my country but in Japan vending machines are everywhere. And people can used anytime when they need.
The most surprising thing is Japanese people do not try to steal the money of vending machines. I found out most Japanese people are extremely well mannered.

Also, when we use a bicycle, we must follow the rules for bicycle. When you ride a bicycle in evening you must turn on the light of your bicycle. If you do not do that, then police can stop you and you must pay the fine with your money. Another thing is you cannot ride two people on a bicycle, bicycle riders also need to follow the traffic rules and regulations. This was one of the most surprising things. When I came to Japan. At first it’s difficult to follow the rules and regulations, but now a days I am used to it and I don’t have any problems.

The Advice to Keep a Cat
Takumi Kurata

The Advice to Keep a Cat
It’s a very good thing to keep a pet.
As a reason, first, a pet will be the family’s member and make your house lively. It probably becomes pleasant than you go home.
Second, you’ll have to live a regular life to look after a pet. If you oversleep, without having breakfast, your pet will feel sad.
I recommend a cat as a best pet.
I’d like to do advising to keep a cat.
You should not give a human meal.
You have to do a bed of a cat cleanly.
You should castrate your cat. You will feel sorry for the cat. But a castration can prevent sickness. When your cat copulate with a stray cat, many pitiful cats will be born.
You should not let your cat outside. Your cat will hope to go outside. But there is a lot of danger outside. It’s late to regret when your cat lose his way and are injured.
Actually, my cat got ill when he goes out, and died of five years old.
When promising these, a cat will be the wonderful family.
Thank you.

…and my thought
Deepak K.C.

Hi everyone,
Many people do not accept it, many countries do not like it, many leaders are disgusted by it, some political leaders like it, some big countries measure their power by it. And this thing is against our human rights, can you guess? What is it? For me I am really disgusted with this activity. Who is pushing our beautiful world into destruction and terror. Today I am going to present in front of you what that is. It is WAR
In this speech I will describe war in 3 sections, which are, 1) what is war? 2) What are the causes of war? 3) What are the results and solution of the war.
Let’s start with the definition of the war,
In the dictionary form, War is a conflict between two societies, and country to another country. And in my own view war is destruction which has no love, relation, or justice.
      Causes of war
Economic gain
Territorial gain
Religion
Nationalism
Civil war
    Results of war
In the 1ST world war 18 million people died and 23 million people were wounded and in the 2ND world war over 60 million people were killed. Is it good for us? Millions of children and young people worldwide are affected by armed conflict, they are confronted with physical harm, violence, danger, exploitation, fear and loss, does it give a good message to the future generation? What do you think about these people who participate in world wars?
    And the solution to war:-
In my view to stop war and violence first we should educate ourselves on the issues. We must first understand what causes it, and what approaches have, and haven`t been successful in the past. Secondly ,We need to develop a closer, more respectful relationship to each other, thirdly is communicate。Don`t be afraid and hesitate to speak and listen to each other problems and voices. And finally take your case to the community.

Homeless People in Japan
TAMANG TIRTHA

Hi good morning everybody
Today I want to talk on the topic of homeless people in the Japan.
One day while walking around the Sakae area of Nagoya I noticed a shelter built by a homeless man.
It looked semi-permanent, but more importantly had solar panels on it. I thought this was different than the homeless peoples. I have encountered in my city of Kathmandu and other parts of the world .So I started to investigate homeless people in japan.
When I started to investigate homeless people many questions arose in my mind. For example
1)Why a man does became the homeless?
2)What do they do in their in daily life?
3)Where do the homeless people live?
Many more questions came to mind.
When I searched about homeless people the main reasons they became homeless are like this:
 1)Gambling
 2)Criminal activities
 3)Mental illness
The big reason people become homeless in Japan is when they lose a large amount of money in gambling like horse racing , pachinko slot etc. Others are criminals who want to hide their identity so they live the homeless life. Also the man suffering from the mental illness has lost control of he/she mind and family do not care for or accept them. These were the main reasons the man became the homeless in Japan.
Where do the homeless people live?
They tend to live in urban parks, river bank, under the highway bridge, on side of the street or station building.
What do they do in their daily life?
Usually they collect the bottles, cans to recycle to earn the money. The Japanese homeless people usually do not beg because they feel shame to beg.
How can Japan decrease the number of homeless people?
I thought that the Japan government should ban the betting games and pachinko slot. And give job offers to homeless people which will reduce the homeless problem.
Thank you very much
That is all for today
