Yokkaichi University

The university was established with the strong support of the city and people of Yokkaichi to create a higher educational division in the AKATSUKI School Group.

It now comprises 2 faculties:

Environmental and Information Sciences.
Policy Management.

Each faculty is dedicated to developing potential in education and research, contributing through extension services to the local community, and pursuing joint educational, research and cultural activities with universities in other countries.

International Student Support Center

The permanent staff at the Center responds in depth to student needs ranging from study guidance to coping with the worries of everyday life.

Through individual guidance in such areas as, for example, anxieties over Japanese language ability, uncertainties about future study or employment plans, or simply the finding of part-time jobs, all-round support is given for a settled student life.

The Center also arranges a varied program of events to encourage close relations between overseas and Japanese students, as well as contacts with the local and regional community.
